Free Billy Joe
Ok, It goes Like this. A great Country singer named Billy Joe Shaver may or may not have shot a man in the face in a bar in Waco last year. A well wisher of Billy's wanted to show his support of the singer and his impending incarceration. However, like one of his own songs Billy has kept the law in Waco at bay. And while this site and the accompanying merchindise sits in limbo, that does not mean I can't show it off.
Espn Commercial
After succesfully collaborating as Art Director with Revelator Productions For 08 and 09 San Antonio Rodeo Stock Show and Rodeo Television ad campaign. They came to us one more time to put together this spiffy spot to play on ESPN during the National Finals Rodeo. Deaf Smith Co. again took the Art Direction reigns and created all the graphics in the spot eventually animated by the talented David Hobizal.
Getting Hitched
I have had dozens of projects start out as letterpress projects and the client balks at the price. Finally I found the one client that would find a way to make it work, my wife. They turned out great thanks to the masturful printing at Vertalee Press. And thanks again John.
Nothing emails like a Deere
This kind of stuff makes my day! I used to spend my days playing with dozens of toy John Deeres. Who knew I would still get to play with John Deere stuff all growd up.
Hacienda Music Video
Again, collaborating with Revolator Productions to create an oustanding video for an up and coming band Hacienda. The video debuted on Rollingstone.com. And garnered attention for the boys, they have spent the last year backing up Dan Auerbach on his solo tour the last year.
Manporri
A Christmas gift from Deaf Smith Co to its clients last year. Manporri is a whiskey and axle grease scented poporri for any cubical warrior wanting to feel they put in a days work like their dad used to.
Sunshine SXSW Exclusive Movie Poster
Sunshine a movie that entwines the story of a young woman's pregnancy with her birth mothers eerily similar story of her birth. This poster was created as an exclusive SXSW promo. The poster and the movie did well at the festival and it has since gone on to preform well on festival circuit.
